Welcome to AASH's regional message boards! Below you will find information about the message boards, which should help make using them as easy and pleasant as possible. General Features

Unlimited Posts
The message boards can hold an unlimited number of forums, categories, threads, replies, and members.

File Uploading
The file uploading feature allows message board users to attach some types of files to their posts and upload their own avatar image from their computer.

Easy Code
The advanced WYSIWYG editor allows message board users to design and post advanced messages without knowing HTML.

Private Messaging
Private messaging is a convenient way for members to contact one another privately without disclosing their email address.

Member Registration
We do not currently require visitors to register before they can post.  All you need are a name and/or email address.

Search Engines
Our message boards are equipped with a search engines that allows Keyword Searching - find posts that contain specific keywords

Email notifications
Message board users can subscribe to any thread, allowing them to receive email notifications of replies to that thread.

Spell Checker
Boards have a built-in spell checker..

Security Features

Managed Posts
Posts deemed inappropriate by AASH will be deleted by our moderator.

Profanity Filters
Profanity is blocked from being posted.

Banning
Visitors who repeatedly make inappropriate posts will be banned from accessing our message boards.

Email Spam Prevention
Robots on the Internet can scan web pages for email addresses, collect them, and then send hundreds of junk emails to them. Our message board system has been built to automatically hide all email addresses from the public, stopping SPAM robots completely.

Post Spam Prevention
Advanced spam robots on the Internet can now automatically submit forms on a website to make garbage posts that would increase the spam company's position in search engines. Our system has advanced filters built in that automatically detect and refuse those unwanted posts.
